We are currently in the Pre-Design Phase, perhaps the most critical stage of the construction project.

During the next eight months, the design strategy of the project will be defined. Patients, community members, physicians, frontline staff, management and administrators have joined into special teams to provide their input and ideas.

These teams are not only identifying the ideal patient experience, they are also evaluating core clinical and logistical processes within the hospital and exploring opportunities for improvement. These team efforts will guide the design process for every department of the new hospital.

All of this planning up front minimizes the chance of changes later on. Smart planning means greater efficiencies and economies during the actual design and construction phases.
