Financing the new hospital

As a private not-for-profit institution, OMHS is responsible for the cost to design and build the new hospital. We are not supported by city or county tax  dollars, and this project will be no exception.

We take our stewardship of the hospital seriously and operate on a financially conservative basis. Therefore we are beginning this project from a strong financial position with a high credit rating, enabling us to finance the new facility through internal assets and the issuance of tax-exempt bonds.

And following completion of the hospital, our patients will still benefit from excellent value and cost-effective care.
